Job Summary

  • The Telesales Officer will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients, promoting the organization’s HMO or Insurance products, and driving sales through telephone interactions. 
  • The role requires excellent communication skills, sales acumen, and a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact potential clients to introduce and explain HMO or Insurance products and services.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets within designated timelines.
  • Follow up on leads promptly to maximize conversion rates.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HMO and Insurance products and services.
  • Tailor product presentations to address the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Build rapport with clients to foster long-term relationships.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science discipline or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of cognate experience in telesales, preferably within the HMO or Insurance industry.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills to engage clients effectively.
  • Strong ability to persuade and negotiate with clients to close sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding telesales targets.
  • Proficiency in managing leads and tracking sales activities systematically.
  • Familiarity with the HMO or Insurance sector is highly desirable.
