Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Primary School to lead our primary school team in Lagos, Nigeria.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, managing the day-to-day operations of the school, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the primary school, aligning with the school's overall mission and goals.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the primary school, including curriculum development, staff management, and student welfare.
• Lead and manage a team of teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting academic excellence, creativity, and social responsibility.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community to promote the school and its values.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to education, health, and safety.
• Manage the school's budget and resources, ensuring effective use of funds and efficient operation of the school.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in education, including curriculum changes, teaching methods, and technologies.

Requirements

• NCE / B.Ed in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in school leadership, including experience as a Head of School or Deputy Head.
• Proven track record of success in leading a team and managing a school.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methods, and educational technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
• Must reside in close proximity to Ejigbo.
