We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Logistics Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
Main Functions
- Provide Project team with overall management and coordination of logistics planning, early project assessment and execution. Interface with Operations Logistics, Production
- Affiliate, Drilling, Procurement, and other General Services throughout the various stages of the process.
- Collaborate on logistics between Drilling and company Projects and share lessons learned.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 tasks, Level 2 and 3:
- Establish and maintain proper communication channels to inform Management,
- Partners, Government Agencies and others to ensure that they receive pertinent and required information.
- Coordinate with other members of the management team to ensure that all matters related to development and operations are carried out in an orderly manner.
- Accountable for overall costs, safety and environmental performance of the subsurface department.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in logistics planning and execution, construction, safety, and procurement
- BSc / MSc in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical degree
- Willing to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide functional support
- Reservoir Engineering management experience
- Experienced in corporate production forecasting
- Strong leadership, planning, organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in managing multi-cultural and multi discipline team.
