Job Summary

• They are seeking a Finance/Accountant Manager to oversee financial operations, manage accounting processes, and ensure financial integrity across all business functions.
• This role is crucial to maintaining compliance, improving financial health, and supporting growth initiatives through effective financial planning and analysis.
• The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and experienced in the Real Estate or PropTech industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor financial performance, providing reports to management and making recommendations for cost reductions, profit maximization, and risk management.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, working closely with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and manage budgets in alignment with company goals, tracking expenditures and analyzing variances.
• Work with department heads to create forecasts and provide insights into financial trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Prepare financial projections and provide decision-makers with key data to support growth initiatives.
• Oversee cash flow to ensure the company has adequate funds to meet operational requirements and business objectives.
• Manage cash reserves, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and maintain financial liquidity.
• Work with the finance team to optimize cash management processes.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies related to financial reporting and transactions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Coordinate with legal advisors to ensure all contracts and agreements are compliant with financial regulations.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring smooth operations and professional growth.
• Oversee daily accounting functions, including payroll, tax filings, reconciliations, and financial record keeping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with business goals.
• Provide financial insights for capital investments and funding initiatives, supporting management with detailed reports on the financial viability of investments.
• Analyze real estate projects, investments, and deals to identify financial risks and potential returns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the Real Estate or PropTech industry.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and industry-specific accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary
N300,000 Monthly.
