Job Title: Commercial Coordinator / Administrator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • A commercial coordinator is responsible forproviding administrative and operational support to a company's sales and commercial team, managing contract details, ensuring timely invoicing, monitoring project financials, and coordinating communication between internal departments and clients to facilitate smooth business transactions and revenue generation; essentially acting as a central point of contact for all commercial aspects of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and drafting contracts with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Tracking contract milestones and deadlines.
  • Managing contract amendments and change orders.
  • Preparing and submitting invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring outstanding invoices and managing debt collection process.
  • Tracking project costs and budgets, identifying potential cost variances.
  • Preparing financial reports for the commercial team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (usually 4 - 10 years) in commercial coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
  • Understanding of basic legal and contractual terms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
