Job Title: Logistics and Mining Business Manager

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a Business Manager to oversee and manage the mining, logistics, spa, and other business units within the company.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, operational efficiency, financial performance, and business growth across multiple sectors.
  • This role requires a dynamic leader with strong business acumen, financial expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the operations and performance of the mining, logistics, spa, and other business divisions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for growth, efficiency, and profitability across all business units.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best business practices.
  • Drive revenue generation through business development, partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control for multiple business sectors.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate business performance, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, managing multiple business units, preferably in mining, logistics, or related industries.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, drive results, and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in business expansion, operational efficiency, and process optimization.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
