Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee the operations and business growth of our travel and tour firm. 
  • The ideal candidate must have a strong background in travel agency management, expertise in using GDS tools such as Amadeus and Galileo, and a strategic mindset to drive revenue and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the travel agency, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee ticketing, reservations, and travel bookings using Amadeus and Galileo.
  • Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners.
  • Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative services to enhance customer experience.
  • Implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost optimization for business profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business goals.
  • Handle crisis management and swiftly resolve operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Travel Agency Manager in a reputable travel firm.
  • Proficiency in GDS tools such as Amadeus and Galileo is a must.
  • Strong leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and drive business success.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
