Job Title: Junior Electrical Engineer / Technician

Job Summary

• They are seeking a passionate and driven Electrical Technician with a strong interest & experience in the solar industry.
• The ideal candidate will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar power systems while actively contributing to project development and execution.

Job Description

• Installation and maintenance of power systems including AVRs, UPS and Inverters etc.
• Support senior engineers in conducting power audits, feasibility studies, site surveys, and electrical system assessments for renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed electrical drawings, diagrams, and specifications for solar installations.
• Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to solar power systems, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in the renewable energy sector to contribute innovative ideas to project designs.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards are met.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards throughout project execution, prioritizing a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

• Hands on experience inSolar inverter design and installation
• NABTEB / SSCE certificate
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, codes and ethics
• Minimum of 1 year field experience
• Proximity to Ikeja
• Experience in roof mounting techniques across different roof types
• Ability to communicate fluently in English language.
• Not older than 35 years.

Salary
N70,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
