Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilledPublic Policy Analystto drive policy research, analysis, and engagement efforts. 
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, economic trends, and industry policies, particularly in any of thetechnology, banking, or infrastructure sectors.
• The Public Policy Analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders, government agencies, and industry associations to assess policy changes, develop strategic recommendations, and advocate for policies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy Research & Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and interpret legislation, regulations, and public policies impacting thetechnology, banking, or infrastructureindustries.
• Regulatory Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry groups to advocate for favorable policies.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on policy trends, regulatory risks, and strategic opportunities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Draft policy briefs, reports, and position papers to communicate the company’s policy stance to external and internal stakeholders.
• Advocacy & Representation: Represent the company in industry forums, regulatory consultations, and policy discussions.
• Impact Assessment: Evaluate the potential effects of policy changes on business operations and recommend appropriate responses.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Law, Economics, Law, Political Science, or a related field.
• 3 - 7 years of experience in public policy, government relations, regulatory affairs, or a related role.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience or strong understanding of any of technology, banking, or infrastructuresectors is an advantage.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and persuasive policy documents.
• Proven ability to engage with government agencies, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in government agencies, think tanks, trade associations, or consulting firms specializing in policy analysis.
• Knowledge of international regulatory trends and frameworks affecting thetechnology, banking, or infrastructuresectors.
• Strong network within policymaking and regulatory circles.

Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
