APIN is a leading Nigerian organization in the provision of prevention, care and treatment services to patients with HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis; Malaria; Reproductive Health; Family Planning; Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, and other non-communicable diseases of public health significance.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Task

  • The success candidate will be responsible for providing secured and timely driving services in transportation of personnel and/or materials from place to place.
  • He will schedule the annual vehicle examination for services of vehicles and apply for the renewal for the vehicle license.
  • He will determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, keep track of general maintenance schedules, especially car tires condition and ensure the sound running of the vehicles assigned and arrange minor repairs where necessary. 
  • He will check the oil and tires properly and keep the service vehicles in clean condition, both inside and outside. 
  • He will keep track of timely car insurance renewals, update monthly mileage records and maintain logbooks of each service vehicle daily. 
  • The applicant must reside in Lagos and be very conversant with driving requirements and the terrain of Lagos state.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must possess a Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or National Examination Council (NECO) certifications.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
  • Must have worked as a driver with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within Lagos State and its environment.
  • Trade Test Certificate from the Federal Ministry of Labour.
  • Must possess excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility.
