- Our client is seeking to hire a Chief Finance Officer to join its dynamic team.
- The role holder will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and driving long-term profitability and sustainable growth.
- The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in the fintech industry, particularly in financial services such as lending, payments, investment, and merchant payments.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies that support the company's overall business goals in fintech, including lending, payments, and investment.
- Partner with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations to shape business decisions, drive growth, and optimize profitability.
- Ensure the financial sustainability of the business while driving operational excellence and innovation.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Managing Director and the Board.
- Perform financial analysis for existing and new products, including fintech payment solutions and lending services, to support data-driven decisions.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax laws, financial reporting standards, and Central Bank regulations.
- Drive the development of policies, procedures, and controls that align with best practices in financial governance.
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the fintech industry.
- Proven track record in leading finance functions in fintech businesses, preferably in lending, payments, or investment sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the financial services/fintech industry.
- Experience with investor relations, fundraising, and capital markets.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex financial models and forecasting in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
Annual Gross Remuneration
N48,400,000 per annum.
