Job Summary

• The Credit and Collections Associate supports the credit analyst, undertakes allocation of customer payments and credits to customer invoices and other repetitive, non decision making tasks, while working under close supervision.

Responsibilities
Collections:

• Processes CA’s cash applications request
• Daily monitoring of CashApps folder
• Processes Bank cash files
• Creates daily cash recon
• Uploads monthly cash recons into Cadency
• Performs miscellaneous checks deposits
• Sends AR checks to Lockbox (US only)
• Assists in month end close related tasks
• Assists GL and Accounting team on reconciling accounts.

Financial Transactions:

• Initiates paperwork for refunds to customers
• Proposes small value write offs (e.g. bank charges)
• Initiates movement of funds between bank accounts.

Tracking and Communication:

• Works with customers and analysts to obtain remittance advices.

Reporting:

• Provides reporting as required by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proven years experience in finance required
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
