Annual Salary: USD 52,273 - USD 59,100
Supervisor: Vice President of the ECOWAS Commission
Duties and Responsibilities
- Helps develop and execute strategies to build relationships with other ECOWAS Institutions;
- Serves as a liaison, cooperative intermediate and focal point between the Commission and other ECOWAS Institutions;
- Fosters and encourages the development of fruitful collaborations with other ECOWAS Institutions;
- Ensures and promotes effective Communication and sharing of information between the Commission and other ECOWAS Institutions;
- Performs all other duties that may be assigned by the Vice President, Commissioners and Directors.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Political Science, or in a similar field
- Minimum of ten (10) years professional work experience, with two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Possession of a higher degree would reduce the minimum required experience to six (6) years with two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Candidates should not be 50 years old or over at the point of recruitment and must be a citizen of one of the ECOWAS member states.
- Must be fluent in one of the official languages of the Commission; English, French and Portuguese. A working knowledge of another would be an advantage.
