Department: Office of the Vice-President
Directorate: Community Computer Centre
Grade: P3
Annual Salary: USD 36,901 - USD 44,469
Supervisor: Principal Program Officer Operations

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and manage the Commissions websites;
  • Devise a mechanism for ensuring security and protection of the Commission’s websites;
  • In-house training in matters relating to web site and its maintenance;
  • Prepare technical documents related to internet services for the Commission;
  • Carry out other task which may be assigned by the Director, CCC

Qualifications/Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science ,Management Information Systems or related fields
  • Minimum of five years relevant work experience in Web design and
  • Experience in web-based systems development, software development, programming, preferably in an international organization, is desirable
  • Candidate should not be 50 years old or over at the point of recruitment and must be a citizen of one of the ECOWAS member states.
  • Must be fluent in one of the official languages of the Commission; English, French and Portuguese. A working knowledge of another would be an advantage.
