Job Title: Cost and Management Accountant

Location: Delta

Reports To: Finance Manager / Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

• The Cost and Management Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing the costs of production and operational activities. 
• The role involves cost planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring effective cost control across the company’s core and secondary product lines. 
• The incumbent will provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency and profitability, supporting the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Cost Management and Analysis
• Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting systems to track costs of primary products.
• Perform detailed cost analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Monitor production costs, overhead expenses, and material usage to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Prepare cost reports, including product profitability analysis and recommendations for cost reduction.
• Evaluate costs of new projects, installations, and interior decor solutions to determine profitability.
• Budgeting and Forecasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIMA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost and management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in woodwork or furniture manufacturing is an added advantage.
