Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Victoria lsland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Resumption: Immediately
Reports to: Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager, or Procurement Manager

Job Summary

• Responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing stock, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Receipt and Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming stock, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
• Storage and Organization: Store stock in designated areas, ensuring accurate labeling and organization.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
• Issuance of Stock: Issue stock to authorized personnel, ensuring accurate documentation and authorization.
• Stock Control: Implement stock control measures, including stock rotation, to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports on stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and other store-related issues.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Storekeeping Experience: 1+ year of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or a related field.
• Certifications: Certifications, such as the Certified Storekeeper (CS) or the Certified Warehouse Professional (CWP), are desirable.

Required Skills:

• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate inventory records and stock management.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with colleagues and management.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move stock, as well as stand for long periods.
• Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, with ability to accurately count and record stock quantities.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse Environment: Work in a warehouse environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and changing temperatures.
• Physical Demands: Physical demands, including lifting, carrying, and moving stock, are required.
• Flexible Schedule: Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends, may be required.

Salary
N70,000 Monthly.
