Job Title: Production Lead

Job Summary

• We are seeking the Production Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the entire furniture manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and process optimization skills to meet production targets and maintain high industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Update the portal daily to reflect a real time status of produced items
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customersorders
• Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standards in furniture production.
• Conduct regular inspections and enforce corrective actions for defects or deviations.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization.
• Identify areas for process improvement feasibility
• Supervise production team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standard.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to production teams, ensuring alignment with client specifications
• Provide regular reports on production efficiency, challenges, and improvements to senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments such as woodwork, upholstery, welding, spraying, logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in furniture manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in a production management role, preferably in furniture manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishing processes.
• Proficiency in production planning, quality control, and process optimization.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in production management software.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
