We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: WASH Officer (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)

Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibility

• Provide Technical and Operational support for WASHMATA INITIATIVES programmes.

Requirements

• Must be hardworking, focused and a solution provider
• Willing to learn and unlearn.
• Ability to read, distil and present information
• Proficient with MS Office apps mainly Word, Excel & PowerPoint and familiar with using collaborative working tools such as Google Drive and/or MS Teams.
• Conversant with WASH Sector

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of WASH sector policies, frameworks, and standard.
• Experience in designing and implementing WASH infrastructure (e.g. boreholes, latrines, water treatment systems).
• Ability to conduct community sensitization and hygiene promotion activities.  Proficiency in water quality testing and monitoring.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and community engagement skills.
• Strong report writing, data collection, and analysis skills.
• Project management and coordination experience with stakeholders.
