Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Industry: Engineering, Procurement and Construction
Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Summary

  • You will assist in developing and managing the company's Assets and financial information.
  • Be responsible for preparing financial reports and maintaining records of assets, liabilities, invoices, budget, revenue and expenditure, payment disbursements, bank reconciliations, and other financial activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage account receivables and payables.
  • Prepare audit schedules and documents for Yearly Audits.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports on the general activities of the company.
  • Compute and remit all statutory payments when due; PAYE, WHT, VAT, ITF, PENSION and to
  • other regulatory bodies etc.
  • Payments to vendors, supervise the processing of staff claims and advances.
  • Build relationships in and work closely with relevant government parastatals to make payments
  • and contributions as appropriate.
  • Develop and process invoices upon delivery of procured items.
  • Carry out excellent bookkeeping and maintain an accurate record of all cash transactions and
  • disbursements.
  • Posting transactions on financial software.
  • Payroll Processing
  • Support the operations team in expediting orders.
  • Reconciliation of company accounts.
  • Peruse all OPEX transactions to ensure best quality at best price is achieved with all vendors,
  • freight forwarders, etc.
  • Assist with managing all financial and administrative aspects of the companys operations to
  • achieve the companys financial goals.
  • Work with Admin on the maintenance and management of the office space, vehicles and items;
  • including maintenance of office equipment and appliances and meeting staff office needs;
  • Oversee the financial activities of the sister companies
  • Monitor income and expenditure with the use of accounting software.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of all transactions and correspondences.
  • Carry out and submit requirements for management accounting as requested.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  • HND qualification with 3 - 5 years of experience.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
