Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive bulk rice sales in Onitsha.
  • The ideal candidate must have 5-10 years of experience selling rice in bulk, a strong network within the rice distribution industry, and excellent relationship management skills.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the rice market, capable of growing sales and expanding the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive bulk rice sales.
  • Identify and establish strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Manage existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Supervise and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, preparing regular reports for management.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in bulk rice sales.
  • Strong network of wholesalers, distributors, and buyers in the rice industry.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is an advantage.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
