Job Title: Construction Driver (Excavator, Bulldozer, and Heavy Equipment Operator)
Location: Ode Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, forklift,graders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety regulations and standard operating procedures to prevent accidents.
- Assist in land clearing, grading, excavation, and site preparation for construction projects.
- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers to meet project goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or repairs needed to the maintenance team.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- SSCE qualification
- Proven experience operating excavators, bulldozers, loaders, or other heavy machinery.
- Valid driver’s/operator’s license for heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and machine maintenance.
- Ability to read site plans, grade stakes, and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
