Job Title: Safety Co-ordinator

Job Summary

• As the safety coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting a safety-first culture on our construction sites.
• This position requires collaboration with project managers and site personnel to implement effective safety measures, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs that align with industry standards and company policies.
• Identify potential hazards and evaluate risks, recommending and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Design and conduct safety training programs for employees and contractors, focusing on hazard recognition, accident prevention, and emergency response.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, equipment, and personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in safety management, ideally within the construction industry.
• National Industrial Safety and Health with NISP Level 3 certification and NEBOSH certification is required.
• First Aid Certification is an advantage.
