Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for food processing and packaging.
• Conduct thorough analyses to improve existing mechanical systems for efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and inspections on mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations across all mechanical operations.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of machinery and mechanical components.
• Research and implement new technologies and innovations to enhance production capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the Food & Beverages industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and methodologies.
