Architect I at the Edo State Public Service Commission

The Edo State Public Service Commission is vested with the responsibilities of treating matters concerning the State Civil Service with respect to Appointments, Promotions, Discipline, Confirmation of Appointments, Transfers, Retirements, Petitions and Other related matters.

The Civil Service Commission carries out its functions and ministerial responsibilities in strict compliance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Edo State Civil Service Commission Law, Public Service Rules, Schemes of Service and other relevant Extant Circulars.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates to fill the position of an experienced professional in the capacity below:

Requirements
Candidate must possess any of the following or equivalent qualifications registrable with the Architect Registration Council of Nigeria (ACRON):

• A Master of Science degree obtained from a recognized University in Architecture;
• A Bachelor of Science degree obtained from a recognized University in Architecture recognized by (ACRON)
• A pass in the final examination II of the Nigeria Institute of Architect (N. I. A)
• A pass in the final II examination of the Royal Institute of British Architect (R. I. B. A) 
• Plus, two (2) years post qualification cognate experience 
• Candidate must not be more than 35 years of age by 5th March, 2025.

Other Requirements:
Candidates must possess the minimum academic and professional requirements as stated below:

• A minimum of a second-class lower Bachelor’s degree
• Candidate must have completed the mandatory NYSC program (where applicable), additional educational or professional qualifications may be an added advantage.
• Candidate must also be computer literate, technology savvy
• Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in teams.
