The Edo State Public Service Commission is vested with the responsibilities of treating matters concerning the State Civil Service with respect to Appointments, Promotions, Discipline, Confirmation of Appointments, Transfers, Retirements, Petitions and Other related matters.

The Civil Service Commission carries out its functions and ministerial responsibilities in strict compliance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Edo State Civil Service Commission Law, Public Service Rules, Schemes of Service and other relevant Extant Circulars.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates to fill the position of Technicians, & Junior Staff in the capacity below:

Requirements
Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:

  • Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), West African School Certificate (WAEC) or General Certificate of Education (GCE) (Ordinary Level) with five (5) including at least two of the following – Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Fine Arts, Physics, Technical Drawings;
  • Candidate must not be more than 30 years of age by 5th March, 2025.

Other Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess the minimum academic and professional requirements for the role applying for
  • Candidates must also be computer literate, with good interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in teams.
