Summary
- Our client is looking to hire a Relationship Manager will play a key role in driving the bank’s deposit mobilisation efforts by building and maintaining key relationships with high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.
- The ideal candidate will leverage financial technology to deliver personalised banking solutions while achieving deposit and fixed-income targets.
Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify and onboard new clients with a focus on deposit mobilization and fixed-income investments.
- Develop strategies to achieve set deposit growth targets and ensure high client retention.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored financial solutions.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing queries or concerns promptly.
Product Knowledge and Sales:
- Educate clients on the bank’s deposit and fixed-income offerings, including features, benefits, and risks.
- Upsell and cross-sell banking products based on client needs.
Market Research and Strategy:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product development team for innovative solutions.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements in client onboarding and transactions.
- Prepare and present weekly performance reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CIBN) are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial services or banking environment.
- Proven track record of deposit mobilisation and working with high-net-worth clients.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, especially fixed-income instruments.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology and digital banking tools.
Must have skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
- Sales and negotiation expertise.
