Job Title: Manager, Resource Mobilization

Job Summary
- The Manager, Resource Mobilization is responsible for revising and implementing strategies to secure financial and non-financial resources to support the organization’s programs and sustainability.
- The role involves donor engagement, fundraising, grant proposal development, partnership building, and financial accountability.
Key Functions
- Revise and implement a resource mobilization strategy to secure funds from diverse sources (including within).
- Research and identify new funding opportunities from bilateral/multilateral donors, foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality funding proposals, grant applications, and concept notes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Organize and participate in donor meetings, networking events, and fundraising campaigns.
- Oversee the implementation of grant-funded projects to ensure alignment with donor expectations.
- Maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, private sector actors, and other NGOs
- Explore innovative funding models such as social enterprises, crowdfunding, and blended financing.
- Work with the communications team to develop marketing materials, impact stories, and donor engagement content.
- Prepare reports and presentations to showcase the impact of funding and attract new partners.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Business Administration, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or related field).
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, grant writing, or business development in an NGO or development sector.
- Proven experience in developing and managing donor-funded projects.
- Demonstrated success in securing grants from bilateral/multilateral donors (e.g., UN agencies, USAID, EU, World Bank, etc.).
