Title: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos


Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) supports the work of the Company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) focusing on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations in the Company. A senior management position, the role is for seasoned and qualified persons with visionary leadership skills in business development, project management, consulting, training, organizational development, strategic planning, and change management in managing the company’s operations; willing to take on calculated risky and difficult assignments that are driven by results.

Key Accountabilities
  • Advise Management on key Planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions.
  • Strategic Planning and Resource Allocation.
  • Establish Operational Processes/Processes Improvement.
  • Manage Strategy Implementation, in particular
  • Ensure quality control of all Company Output as pertains to Customer Acquisition and Delivery of Services.
  • Ensure all Department Heads are fully informed of Operational Objectives.
  • Set Operational and/or Performance Goals to ensure that progress is being made.
  • Establish and Monitor Performance Reporting Systems.
  • Monitor Department Performance against performance Goals to ensure that progress is being made.
  • Conduct regular Meetings with Business Units Heads and Heads of Functions to ensure that priorities are clear and coordination is good.

Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 8 years cumulative working experience with proven track record of performance, 4 years of which should be in a core senior management capacity in a reputable Service Company.
  • First degree in any field. Possession of MBA and professional memberships of relevant bodies would be advantageous.
  • Experience in working with ERP applications will be a plus.
  • Must not be older than 40 years.
