Job Description

  • Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Supervisor to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive product visibility, brand awareness, and market share.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales staff, providing necessary coaching, training, and feedback to optimize productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure adherence to merchandising standards and market requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, logistics) to ensure smooth operations, timely product delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all sales policies and procedures are consistently followed to align with company standards and objectives.

Requirements

  • HND / BSc in Marketing or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven FMCG sales management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry, market dynamics, and sales strategies.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Must be located or willing to work in the Airport Road, Lagos area.
