Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support our Year 1 classroom.
• The ideal candidate will assist the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide individualized support to students to enhance their learning experiences.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and other school-related events.
• Prepare and organize educational materials and classroom resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to develop effective teaching strategies.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Qualifications

• NCE or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a teaching assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children.
