  • As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, valves, and piping systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in equipment modifications and upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other technicians to optimize plant performance.

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas or heavy industry.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and work under pressure.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
