Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
What You Will Do:

  • As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment essential to our oil and gas operations.
  • Installing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical systems, including, control panels, generators, and transformers.
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Diagnosing electrical faults and implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Assisting with the commissioning of new electrical equipment and system upgrades.
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Collaborating with engineers and operations teams to optimize equipment performance.
  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
  • To ensure efficiency and effectiveness of base mechanical equipment and services.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all base mechanical equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and improve safety during the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment (toolbox meetings, job safety analysis, risk assessment and work permit).
  • Complete required reporting related to inspections and maintenance activities (daily reports, final reports at the end of the works, handover reports).
  • Keep stock of spare parts/materials stock up to date.
  • Lead the operation and maintenance of bunkering, fuel purification and fuel tank activities.

Education and Qualifications
What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, piping systems, material selection, and mechanical integrity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications.
  • Ability to analyze complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a startup environment.
  • Understanding of HSE regulations, industry codes, and mechanical safety best practices.
