Job Summary

  • The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee the maintenance, repairs, and overall upkeep of our facilities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety standards. 
  • This role requires excellent organizational skills, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to manage maintenance schedules, vendors, and budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for all facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Repairs: Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and address repairs effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain records of maintenance supplies and ensure adequate stock levels for tools and spare parts.
  • Budgeting: Assist in preparing and managing the maintenance budget while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain compliance with building codes.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for auditing purposes.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a maintenance or facilities coordination role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Technical knowledge in facility maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
    • Proficient in using maintenance management software.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to lead a team and work under minimal supervision.
