Job Title: Performance Officer / Manager
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage the organization's performance management framework, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Ensure alignment of individual and departmental KPIs with overall business objectives.
- Facilitate the performance cycle, including goal setting, quarterly & mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.
- Train managers and employees on the performance appraisal process.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend training & development programs.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and Learning & Development teams to implement capability enhancement initiatives.
- Design and manage the organization's competency framework in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Ensure competencies align with the organization’s strategic direction and functional objectives.
- Generate periodic performance reports and recommend strategic actions.
- Track performance trends and benchmark against industry standards.
- Support and coach managers on effective performance management strategies.
- Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, and leadership teams to drive a performance-driven culture.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards in performance management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or a related field.
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
- 3-7 years of experience in performance management, HR, or organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of performance management frameworks and tools (OKRs, KPIs, Balanced Scorecard, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and performance management software.
- Change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
