Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the executive team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and support.
Strategic Partnership Management:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with major OEM partners.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure mutual benefits and adherence to agreed terms.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and OEM partners for technology initiatives.
Technology Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the executive team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and support.
- Define and implement a technology roadmap aligned with both the company’s business goals and OEM partner strategies.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for technological innovation in collaboration with OEM partners.
- Ensure the company remains at the forefront of technology trends and OEM advancements.
Product and Solution Development:
- Lead the development and enhancement of in-house software products.
- Oversee the integration of OEM technologies and solutions into the company's product offerings.
- Ensure that new solutions meet market demands and enhance the company’s competitive edge.
Software Development Oversight:
- Provide technical direction and oversight for all in-house software development projects.
- Implement best practices for software development, including Agile methodologies.
- Ensure high standards of software quality and reliability through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
Project Management:
- Manage the delivery of IT projects within budget and time constraints.
- Ensure all projects are delivered to scope, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budgets for technology projects.
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote in-house software and OEM-based solutions to clients.
- Assist in developing sales strategies, marketing materials, and training programs related to in-house and OEM technologies.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients on all technical matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Present technology solutions to clients and stakeholders, ensuring their alignment with business needs.
Training and Development:
- Liaise with Human Resources to facilitate training programs for staff on new OEM technologies and in-house software.
- Ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest advancements from OEM partners and in-house technologies.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the technology team.
Security, Compliance, and Risk Management:
- Implement robust IT security strategies to protect company data and infrastructure.
- Conduct risk assessments and initiate risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all solutions and integrations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, best practices, and OEM guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with OEM technology implementations and in-house software development.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of technology systems and processes.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor the performance and impact of OEM-based solutions and in-house software.
- Provide regular reports to senior management and OEM partners on project status, performance metrics, and ROI.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Innovation and Thought Leadership:
- Champion innovation within the organization, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and approaches.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Promote innovation within the Technology team.
- Lead research and development initiatives to keep the company at the forefront of technology.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, sharing insights on technology trends and OEM collaborations.
- Publish articles, whitepapers, and case studies on successful OEM partnerships and technology implementations.
Professional Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management with solution architecture as the core, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in ICT consulting, including project management and client engagement.
- Strong knowledge of software development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, including emerging technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL are a plus.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
