We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Production Technologist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize well completion, artificial lift, and production enhancement strategies.
• Analyze well-performance data to diagnose production issues and implement solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies for improving production efficiency and recovery.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, drilling engineers, and geoscientists to develop field development strategies.
• Develop and implement sand control, water/gas shut-off, and well-stimulation programs.
• Conduct nodal analysis, well modeling, and flow assurance studies.
• Support well intervention and workover planning to enhance production.
• Monitor production trends and provide technical solutions to maximize asset value.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and industry best practices.
• Mentor junior production technologists and provide technical guidance to operational teams.
• Stay updated with emerging production technologies and industry advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of years of experience in production technology within the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of well completions, artificial lift systems, and production optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in production modeling software (e.g., Prosper, GAP, OLGA, Petrel RE).
• Experience in sand control, flow assurance, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and lead production technology initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in offshore and deepwater production operations.
• Knowledge of digital oilfield technologies and real-time production monitoring.
• Membership in professional organizations (e.g., SPE).
