Job Title: Head of Partnerships

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Head of Partnerships is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships to drive business growth, expand market presence, and enhance brand visibility. 
  • This role involves identifying new partnership opportunities, negotiating agreements, and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • The candidate will be reporting to the CEO / Managing Director
  • The ideal candidate should be a dynamic and innovative professional with a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and relationship management. 
  • The candidate must be young, energetic, and have prior experience working in a financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry partners, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to maximize the impact of partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances, with a strong background in the financial sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing high-impact partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess partnership performance and market trends.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services is highly preferred.
