Job Overview

• The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in reconciling daily transactions, managing guest services during night shifts, and ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded. 
• This role combines operational oversight with high standards of customer service to maintain the integrity of the hotel's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit all revenue and transaction entries from multiple sources (e.g., guest services, F&B outlets).
• Identify, document, and rectify discrepancies in financial records.
• Generate detailed end-of-day and shift-based financial reports for managerial review.
• Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth operations during night hours.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
• Uphold the highest standard of hospitality service, reinforcing the brand’s reputation.
• Maintain secure and accurate logs of financial transactions during night shifts.
• Monitor daily financial performance to spot patterns or potential issues.
• Quickly relay significant findings or discrepancies to the Finance Manager.
• Ensure all procedures align with internal financial controls and hospitality standards.
• Securely manage sensitive guest and financial data.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operational transitions between shifts.
• Manage emergencies or unexpected situations during night operations.
• Assist with ancillary tasks that support overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 3 years experience in auditing or financial reconciliation, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong command of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven track record in accurate financial reporting under pressure.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proactive skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary
N200,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
