Job Description

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items either on-site or in advance, ensuring that all dishes meet health and safety standards.
• Sales and Customer Service: Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations to enhance customer experience.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of food and supplies, ensuring that adequate inventory is available to meet demand.
• Payment Processing: Handle cash and electronic payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of sales transactions.
• Compliance with Regulations: Ensure adherence to local health regulations and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Setup and Cleanup: Set up food stalls or trucks before service and clean up the area after service, including disposing of waste properly.
• Marketing and Promotion: Use marketing techniques to attract customers, which may include signage, social media promotion, or participation in local events.
• Licensing and Permits: Obtain necessary permits or licenses required to operate in specific locations or events.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of First School Leaving Certificate.
