The Alternative Bank is an independent financial organization in the Non-interest Banking (NIB) sector. Financial operations on the Alternative Bank is authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria. License to commence operations was granted in 2014. Trading and investment products provided by the Alternative Bank is wholly owned.

We are recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Title: Audit Officer - Retail & Digital Business Solutions

Location: Lagos
Department: Audit and Finance

Job Objective

• To provide updates on the review of AltBank businesses around retail & digital space, working with the businesses on closing observed breaches in compliance with enabling laws & regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 
• Must have a valid NYSC Certificate
• Strong Business Analysis & Negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of finance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business goals.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

• Internal Audit Delivery, Knowledge of Islamic Financial Business, Understanding Corporate Governance, Knowledge of IFRS and Forensic Accounting, Industry Knowledge, Knowledge of Extant Standards and Regulations, Planning and Organizational Skills, Analytical Skills, Financial Reporting.
