Head - Financial Reporting at the Alternative Bank

The Alternative Bank is an independent financial organization in the Non-interest Banking (NIB) sector. Financial operations on the Alternative Bank is authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria. License to commence operations was granted in 2014. Trading and investment products provided by the Alternative Bank is wholly owned.

We are recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Title: Head - Financial Reporting

Location: Lagos
Department: Audit and Finance

Job Objective

• To prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) and ensure reports accurately depict the financial health and position of the business at both entity and group levels.

Educational Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 
• Must have a valid NYSC Certificate
• Strong Business Analysis & Negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of finance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business goals.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

• Financial Accounting, Knowledge of Extant Regulations & Policies, Analytical skills, Data management, Financial Analysis, IT Appreciation and Application, Knowledge of Banking Operations, Presentation Skills, Stakeholder management, Research Orientation, Market Research.
