Job Summary
- Our client is looking for a skilled Laboratory Technician to support our diagnostic and treatment processes through precise lab tests and analyses.
- The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting medical laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring accurate results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to maintaining quality standards in laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and analyze blood, tissue, and other samples.
- Conduct laboratory tests and ensure accurate and timely results.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Follow strict laboratory safety and infection control protocols.
- Record and interpret test results, reporting findings to healthcare professionals.
- Assist in managing lab supplies and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and laboratory best practices.
- Collaborate with dentists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized laboratory regulatory body (e.g., MLSCN in Nigeria).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a medical or dental laboratory.
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment and diagnostic procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
