We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Audit Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Audit & Assurance:

• Plan, execute, and finalize audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Ensure audits comply with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
• Review and approve audit workpapers, financial statements, and management reports.
• Identify audit risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure high-quality audit documentation and adherence to firm policies.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit seniors and trainees.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance team capabilities and technical knowledge.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.

Client & Business Management:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
• Provide value-added financial and risk advisory insights to clients.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to firm growth.
• Ensure timely delivery of audit reports and effective resolution of client queries.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure audits align with Nigerian Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS), IFRS, and local tax laws.
• Keep up to date with changes in accounting, auditing, and tax regulations.
• Assist clients in regulatory reporting and liaise with regulatory bodies when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN or ACCA certification (mandatory).
• 5+ years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations in Nigeria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in audit software (CaseWare, IDEA, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive firm growth.
