We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Ajegunle, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries in and out of the store to the correct point of storage area.
  • Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation.
  • Monitor and take inventory on a regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs
  • Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
  • Responsible for verifying all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
  • Responsible for storage of all products and operational stock.
  • Responsible for the day to day check on the storage facilities of upkeep and hygiene.
  • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
  • Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and entered into the Inventory/Materials Management System.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / BSc Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or record keeping
  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in warehouse environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competencies in data entry, analysis and management
  • Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
  • Skills to operate common office equipment
  • Must reside within Ajegunle and its environ.

Salary
N95,000 monthly.
