We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide financial insights to support the company's business decisions. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper financial record-keeping.
  • Manage tax filings, payroll processing, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assist in budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Conduct audits and ensure internal financial controls are in place.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial operations.
  • Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and cost efficiency.
  • Perform other duties asigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5 - 7 years work experience.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ICAN) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.

Salary
N300,000 monthly.
