Job Title: Store / Inventory Officer

Location: Tradefare Complex, Lagos

6Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Store/Inventory Officer to join our e-commerce team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock
  • Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
  • Identify and investigate stock discrepancies/discrepancies
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs and overstocking

Warehouse Operations:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and regulations
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff (if applicable)

Stock Control and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records
  • Generate reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Order Fulfillment and Shipping:

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective shipping of orders

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., customer service, purchasing) to resolve inventory-related issues
  • Collaborate with external parties (e.g., suppliers, logistics providers) to ensure smooth inventory operations

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field

Skills:

  • Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
