Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Atan, Ogun State (Factory)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting To: Factory Finance Manager / Head Office

Summary 

• We are looking to hire a Junior Accountant for its factory in Atan, Ogun State.
• This role will focus on supporting financial operations at the factory, ensuring proper accounting for production costs, stock management, and expense tracking.

Key Responsibilities
Financial & Cost Accounting:

• Maintain financial records for factory operations, ensuring accuracy in expense tracking.
• Monitor daily financial transactions, including purchases, payments, and payroll processing.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for factory operations.

Inventory & Stock Management:

• Work closely with the warehouse and procurement teams to track raw material usage and finished goods.
• Reconcile stock movements with financial records to prevent discrepancies.

Payroll & Compliance:

• Assist in processing payroll for factory staff and ensure accurate deductions.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and remittance of statutory deductions.

Banking & Cash Flow Management:

• Reconcile factory cash book transactions with bank statements.
• Monitor factory expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary provisions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BSc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions.
• Willingness to work in a factory environment and adapt to operational demands.

Salary
N120,000 per month (subject to review after probation).
