AFL is set up to reach a 0.5 million-ton per year capacity for high strength rebars and allied products.

Job Title: GET Chemical Engineer
Location: Ogijo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and improve chemical manufacturing processes
- Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes
- Establish safety procedures for those working with dangerous chemicals
- Perform tests and monitor the performance of processes throughout production
- Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes
- Estimate production costs for management
- Develop processes for separating components of liquids and gases, or for generating electrical currents, by using controlled chemical processes
- Prepare reports, flow diagrams, and charts, detailing all processes and reactions.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.
