Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee and manage the manufacturing process in our facility.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that production runs efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all production activities to meet deadlines and production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Coordination

• Develop and manage the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Coordinate production activities with other departments, such as inventory, quality control, and shipping.
• Oversee the allocation of resources (labor, materials, equipment) for production activities.

Quality Control & Assurance:

• Ensure production processes comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Implement quality assurance procedures and monitor production quality.
• Resolve any quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.

Team Management & Leadership:

• Lead, motivate, and manage production teams to ensure high productivity, engagement, and morale.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training and development needs.
• Ensure staff adhere to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques and monitor production efficiency metrics.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and address any operational issues that affect production performance.

Health & Safety Management:

• Ensure that the production environment is safe and complies with health and safety regulations.
• Provide safety training to staff and monitor adherence to safety protocols.
• Address any safety concerns promptly and work with relevant teams to mitigate risks.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Monitor production costs and work to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
• Prepare and manage the production budget, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Generate regular reports on production performance and recommend improvements to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree in any field with 6 years work experience.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
