Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying potential business partners, setting up potential business leads or other business arrangements, and scaling up sales in Nigeria and potentially elsewhere.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.
  • Build strong relationships with dealerships, corporate clients, and individual buyers.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, pipeline growth) and report progress to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with branding and promotions.
  • Ensure excellent post-sales support to enhance customer retention and loyalty.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in automotive, electric vehicles, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Computer skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data-driven decision-making.
  • Deep knowledge of Lagos and Nigerian market dynamics.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrate team spirit and good interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Integrity and confidentiality.
  • Interpersonal and time management skills.
